Minimum points transfer

The smallest amount of points or miles that a rewards program allows in one transfer to a partner program.

Illustrative example

Illustrative example: a traveler preparing an award trip from New York (JFK) to London Heathrow (LHR) needs 700 more airline miles. If the applicable transfer minimum is 1,000 points, a 700-point transfer would be too small.
