InfoViaggioAmerican’s redesigned 777 adds suites and changes First Class dates
The first updated aircraft has 70 Flagship Suite seats.
What was announced
American launched its first redesigned Boeing 777-300ER on September 2, on a New York–Buenos Aires flight. The new layout has 70 Flagship Suite seats with doors and 44 Premium Economy seats. This is the first aircraft in the retrofit program, not a fleetwide change on one day. Source: Official airline announcement
What to know
As suites roll out, Flagship First is no longer sold on the 777-300ER for travel from November 19. On transcontinental routes, the sales cutoff applies to travel from March 28, 2027. Those are travel dates, not booking deadlines. Source: Official airline announcement
