What was announced
From September 1, Lufthansa adds five hot meals for purchase in Economy on continental flights lasting at least two hours. These meals are available only by pre-order. Orders open four weeks before departure and close 24 hours before the flight. Source: Official airline announcement
What to know
The airline also expands Business Class meal pre-selection to most long-haul flights returning to Germany. Travelers can choose from six main courses rather than three. The same ordering window applies. This does not make the paid Economy meals free. Source: Official airline announcement
